About this product
Mechanical heat detector from System Sensor's 5600 Series with a 135°F fixed-temperature element and rate-of-rise sensing (15°F per minute). It closes a normally open contact on alarm, so it works on conventional fire and security panels.
The rate-of-rise element is restorable for field testing, and the collector drops on activation so you can spot which unit tripped. A reversible bracket mounts it on single-gang, octagonal or 4 in square boxes.
System Sensor rates the 5600 Series for property protection and non-life-safety use where smoke detectors are not suitable. Install and test per NFPA 72 and local code.
